Need an extra email address for a colleague, a department (such as info@ or accounts@), or simply a second mailbox for yourself? You can create it yourself right away in the client portal — no waiting, no ticket.
Tip: stuck? Just email or call us — we'll walk through it together.
Got a text tweak, a new photo, or a button that needs to move? Email it to info@i-job.site — your message goes straight to the right person. We aim to pick it up within 2 working days; at busy times or for bigger jobs it may take a little longer.
Already have a domain name and we're building your new website? Then the two need to be connected. There are three ways to do that. Which one suits you best depends on whether you want to keep your domain and email with your current provider.
Option 1 — Transfer your domain to us
You move the domain entirely to i-job. We cover the costs and set everything up: website, email and DNS. You don't have to worry about a thing.
- Request a transfer code from your current provider. It's also called a token, auth code or EPP code. You'll usually find it in your control panel under the domain settings; otherwise you can request it by email.
- Send us the code. Together with the domain name it's for.
- We take care of the rest. You don't need to do anything else. Your email keeps working throughout the transfer.
Option 2 — You keep the domain, website and email run with us
You keep managing the domain yourself, but your website and your email run with us. To do this, you point the nameservers to us. You change this with the company where your domain is registered.
- Log in to your domain provider and look for the nameservers or DNS servers setting.
- Replace the existing nameservers with the three below.
- Save. It can take up to 24 hours for the change to take effect everywhere.
- Nameserver 1
ns1.cheesehosting.net- Nameserver 2
ns2.cheesehosting.net- Nameserver 3
ns3.cheesehosting.net
Option 3 — Only the website moves to us
Your domain and your email stay with your current provider. Only the website points to our server. You change just one line in your DNS settings.
- Log in to your domain provider and go to DNS settings or DNS management.
-
Find the A record named

SEO stands for search engine optimisation. In short, it means building your website in a way that Google understands it and ranks it high enough when someone searches for what you offer.
The difference with advertising: with Google Ads you pay per click and stay at the top for as long as you pay. With SEO you don't pay per visitor, but it takes time to climb the rankings. One doesn't rule out the other; many businesses do both.
What Google looks at
There are hundreds of signals behind it, but they roughly fall into three groups.
- Technical. Does the site load quickly? Does it work well on a phone? Can Google find and read every page? Are there no broken links or error messages?
- Content. Does the page really answer the question someone searched for? A page about "roof repairs in Bristol" should actually be about that, with useful information — not three lines of text.
- Trust. Do other websites link to you? Do you have reviews? Has your business been around for a while? Google uses signals like these to judge whether you're a serious player.
What we take care of when building
We handle the technical basics during the build, so your site can be read properly from day one:
- A site that loads fast and works well on mobile
- Page titles and descriptions that show up in Google
- A sitemap and a clean page structure, so Google can find everything
- A secure connection (https)
- Readable addresses, so
/roofinginstead of/?p=473
What you can do yourself (this helps the most)
The technical side is the foundation, but the biggest gains usually come from you. You know what customers ask and the words they use.
- A separate page per service. One page covering everything performs worse than a dedicated page per topic.
- Use the words your customers use. If they search for "plumber" and you call it "sanitary installation engineering", you'll miss them.
- Your own photos of your work. Better than stock photos, and visitors stay longer for them.
- Keep your Google Business Profile up to date. For local businesses it's often more important than the website itself.
- Ask customers for a review. It only takes a quick message and it counts for a lot.
How long does it take?
Expect a few months before you notice anything, and longer for competitive keywords. SEO works like a savings account: it builds up slowly, but what you build stays. If you want visitors tomorrow, advertising is the right tool.
You can read your email anytime, anywhere via our webmail. No app needed, just your browser.

You send an email and the recipient never sees it. Or they do see it — in their spam folder. Here's why that happens, and what you can do about it.
How does a spam filter decide what's spam?
Almost every email provider — Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail and so on — uses automatic filters that assess every incoming message. These filters look at hundreds of signals: the sender address, the content, the reputation of the mail server and how other recipients behave.
In short: if your email address or domain has ever been linked to bulk mailing, is new, or if people have previously marked your messages as spam, the system remembers. Subsequent messages automatically get a lower trust score.
Why does this happen to ordinary senders too?
You don't have to be a spammer to end up in the spam folder. Filters are set strictly because the volume of real spam is enormous. As a result, legitimate emails are sometimes wrongly held back as well.
Common causes:
- A new email address without a "track record"
- Certain words that filters recognise as suspicious
- Your own domain name that isn't well known yet
- Messages that others have previously marked as spam
- Emailing many recipients at once from a personal account
